Three men have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of an elderly Italian couple in Wolverhampton. Mr. and Mrs. Massaro were found dead at their home on Friday. The couple had moved to England in the 1960’s and had a number of children and grandchildren who will miss them terribly. At St Patrick’s Chuch in New Cross, the chuch they used to attend, special prayers were held in memory of the couple on Sunday. A post mortem examination will continue on Monday. The man, aged between 21 and 32, were arrested overnight.
I think this is a vague article. The reporter does not tell us what exactly happened to the elderly couple or what the motives of the killers were. I wonder whether this is a simple robbery or if there is perhaps a more complicated reason, such as organized crime or personal reasons. Especially since they are Italian, it would be so tragic and exciting if they were actually involved in such a thing. However, the acticle was very short, thus it was quite difficult for me to summarize it without repeating things.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Janine, check your spelling in this sentence:
BeantwoordenVerwijderen'the chuch they used to attend'
The article indeed seems very short and not that informative. They don't look like mobsters so I don't think it has anything to do with any sort of ogranised crime. Just robbery or personal issues. keep up the good work.

Dennis
